2025年11月27日，國家衛生健康委員會發佈2025年第7號公告，正式將威尼斯鐮刀菌蛋白（Mycoprotein from Fusarium venenatum）納入新食品原料目錄，這是繼2023年第10號公告發佈的酵母蛋白（Yeast protein fromSaccharomyces Cerevisiae）後，中國批准的第二款微生物替代蛋白，標誌著中國在微生物蛋白領域的監管與產業化發展邁出新進程。
日前，歐洲食品安全局（EFSA）發布《Guidance on the characterisation of microorganisms in support of the risk assessment of products used in the food chain》指南，作為食品鏈中微生物產品風險評估之表徵方法指引。
